design update:
The model 17 and 18 have some great design and techniek upgrades.
First of all the models have Anti Reflection Coatings. Comparing with the vintage v a positive development which improves readability.
Secondly the revolving topring works with a ratchet system. The base of the second crown is integrated into the watchcase. It still has a lock function but with this stiff ratchet system the second crown more and more becomes a design matter already to be left out in the next Airman model the Airman Special II.
